Lukashenka approved opening of European Commission local office in Belarus

By his decree Alyaksandr Lukashenka has approved signing the Agreement between the Republic of Belarus and the Commission of the European Communities on instituting, privileges and immunity of representatives of the Commission of the European Communities in Belarus.

Valery Varanetski, a deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus, is to sign the agreement. The agreement is to be used provisionally from the moment of its signing to the date of its entering into force, BELTA informs.
