Alyaksandr Kazulin’s daughter to go to law against Lukashenka

28

Lukashenka’s statements he said during his address to the “parliament” on 29 April may become a ground for legal process.

Alyaksandr Lukashenka made some offensive statements concerning former presidential candidate and current political prisoner Alyaksandr Kazulin.

In particular, Alyaksandr Lukashenka said:

“They found a crummy oppositionist, who polled 1.5 per cent of votes at the elections, and made a political prisoner of him. The opposition doesn’t want he will be released. If he is set free tomorrow, the opposition will no longer exist. There’s nothing sacred in this man... Five prisoners used the opportunity, but the refused: “It wasn’t a right moment for him.” Who needs you?”

“I’m not surprised Lukashenka reminded Alyaksandr Kazulin two times. It is another evidence he is interested in Kazulin and it is Kazulin who doesn’t let Lukashenka relax. If Kazulin some time ago was a “goon,” who used to open beer for Lukashenka,” now he has turned into a “crummy oppositionists.” It only demonstrates the nature of our president, reminds us where he comes from, his education and cultural level,” Volha Kazulina told.

According to Kazulina, she doesn’t exclude she will consider the question of filing a suit to defend honour and dignity, "Radio Racyja" reports.

“I’m shocked. If such words are used to describe an honest man, professor, former presidential candidate. This legal process may again show what legal nihilism exists in Belarus,” V. Kazulina added.
