4 July exploded Bomb wasn’t produced in Belarus

Activists of the democratic movement in Minsk and in regions have their apartments searched. While the scientists say there are no people in Belarus who are able to produce such a bomb.

Leader of the unregistered Party of Freedom Syarzhuk Vysotski visited the investigatory department in Sapyurau Street, where he was taken fingerprints and saliva for examination.

Syarzhuk Vysotski spent three days in the KGB retrial detention center as a suspect in 4 July blast. Investigators questioned him but decided not to transfer him to a temporary detention facility, and release him.

“They took saliva specimen but didn’t pack it. I hope, after the additional investigation, I will have grounds to file a petition on stopping the criminal persecution. In terms of law on entry and exit, the suspected persons are restricted to travel abroad,” the lawyer said to Radio Svaboda.

Leader of Right Alliance Yuras Karetnikau was also called to the investigatory department. According to Yuras, he had his fingerprints and specimen of saliva taken for the eights time.

An investigator told to Yuras Karetnikau he had no right to leave Belarus within two months.

Apartment of activist of the United Civil Party Alyaksandr Stsepanenka was searched by the KGB, and the young man was taken for questioning.

Apartment of Zhanna Papova, director of “Vitsenbski Kuryer” printing house was also searched.

Scientists state it is impossible to produce a bomb in Belarus that exploded during the concert. Firstly, there are no opportunities to synthesise the used substances, secondly, there are no people able to secure aimed character of the blast.

A physicist told to Radio Svaboda on a condition of anonymity:

“It’s impossible to synthesise such substances and to leave. So, the most likely that ready components were used. Only a specialist is able to calculate a blast. Physicists and chemists can’t do it. One needs to be get military education for it.

Watch the TV reports about terrorists. These people have technical education. Precise proportions of substances must be calculated for a blast. One should have special education to do it.

What relation fingerprints and saliva have to the blast? Or did they clue wire with saliva? It is not serious at least.”

Scientists say Belarus doesn’t produce arms, while neighbouring Russia has many plants south and east of the Urals that synthesise substances necessary for exploding devices. But substances are not all that is needed. Knowledge of physics of explosion is needed. There are no departments of this sphere in Belarus.

Scientist believe the bomb was delivered in Belarus ready to use from a military unit or from military conflict zone.
