Lithuanian President to tell German Chancellor about meeting with Kazulin

Alyaksandr Kazulin, a politician recently released from a Belarusian prison, met with Lithuanian president Vadlas Adamkus on August 25.
The meeting hadn’t been announced. The spokesperson of the Lithuanian President Rita Grumadaitė told that it was a working meeting, but its subject-matter wasn’t commented by her:
“It was a working meeting, not all working meetings are announced. Besides, it is a political prisoner, and his personal security is important”.
On Tuesday the administration of the Lithuanian President disseminated a report that German Chancellor Angela Merkel would be informed about the results of the meeting. She arrives to Lithuania on a visit, “Nasha Niva” informs.
