In Homel regime overstated voters turnout twofold

An activist of the United Civil party Alyaksandr Pratsko, who is carrying out observation at the polling station #27 of Homel Soviet constituency #34, tells that the difference between his information about the voters turnout and the commissions’ figures is twofold.

As the BelaPAN has been informed by A. Pratsko, according to his knowledge, 213 voters casted vote by the noon. According to the commission, 403 voters have taken part in the voting by this time. 2,242 voters have a right to vote at the polling station. A. Pratsko has drawn up a statement of fact and plans to submit it to the commission.

The observer of the United Civil Party Mikhail Tsimashenka wants to address the constituency commission on the fact of violations at the polling station #13 of Homel Pramyslovy constituency #35. Members of election commission there give two or three times as much ballots for voting at home as needed. “There were 7 requests for voting at home, and the commission has issued 20 ballots. I think it is a violation of the Electoral Code,” M. Tsimashenka noted.

The secretary of the precinct commission Tatsyana Klimenka told to the BelaPAN that ballots would be returned to the Commission if they wouldn’t be used or would be spoiled, they are to be returned to the commission, and there wouldn’t be any violation in that.
