On September 3 at 3 p.m. the Central Elections Commission will consider letters of complaint of persons nominated as candidates for deputies in Minsk region, and not registered by district commissions.
Among them, applications of the editor-in-chief of the newspaper “Borisovskiye novosti” Anatol Bukas (Barysau city constituency No. 62) and a member of the Belarusian Popular Front party, a deputy director of the PR department of the public association “International informational and analytical agency “European Wave” Syarhei Slash (Barysau rural constituency No. 63) are to be considered. It was reported by the campaign “Human rights activists for free elections”.
As we have informed, Anatol Bukas was not registered for alleged inaccurate information in his income declaration, and Syarhei Salash because of the great number of invalid signatures.
In his appeal to the Central Elections Commission Syarhei Salash, among other things, charged the chairperson Lidziya Yarmoshyna of dissemination of inaccurate information at a press-conference for mass media about his being summoned to police after a statement of Tatsyana Stasava (a secretary of the district commission of Barysau city electoral district No. 62). As we have informed, Tatsyana Stasava and Valyantsina Shutko charged Syarhei Salash of insulting them, calling them “falsificators” in presense of 4 witnesses. Yarmoshyna told to journalists that Salash was summoned to police on August 10, while according to Salash, in the summons received by him, he was summoned on August 18, which is the last day of submitting documents for registration.
