“Young Front” activist fined for picket “Communism=Fascism”

Hanna Bunko was fined 175,000 rubles for a picket dedicated to the 70th anniversary of signing Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact.
On August 23, Hanna Bunko and Mikalai Dzyamidzenka were detained by officers of the Maskouski district militia department of Minsk for fastening a colourful caricature “Communism=Fascism” on the monument to Lenin and handing out information leaflets, Radio Svaboda reports.
On October 9, Hanna Bunko received a decision of the administrative commission, signed by commission head Bykouskaya, informing her about the fine. The commission found that actions of Bunko fall under part 2 of article 21.14 of the Code of Administrative Offences – “violation of rules of urban maintenance” and obliged the activist to pay a fine of 175,000 Belarusian rubles.
Hanna Bunko wasn’t present at the commission session, as she hadn’t been informed about the date of the case consideration.
