Monument to Lenin in Navahrudak poured with green paint

BelaPAN learnt this from one of the co-chairmen of the Belarusian Christian Democracy Paval Sevyarynets.

“They were detained only because green paint and gloves had been found on them,” Sevyarynets said.

According to him, a girl was detained together with the BCD activists. She had red spray paint. She was released after identification.

The young people spent three hours in a militia department. Administrative reports were drawn up against them.
