Iran to create joint venture with Amkodor

Representatives of Amkodor joint stock company received an offer from Iranian businessmen at the X Tehran International Industrial Fair held on October 6-9.
The press service of the Belarusian ruler confirmed information spread earlier by the media regarding interest of Iranian Imen rahe gharb firm in Belarusian loaders and their intention to create a joint venture, Regnum information agency reports.
The parties are to hold a series of negotiations in Minsk regarding establishing a joint venture and further cooperation.
We remind that Alyaksandr Lukashenka paid a visit to Iran in March 1998 and November 2006. A range of documents on developing trade, creating a joint venture in Iran to assemble MAZ trucks, creating dealerships of Belarusian producers, etc were signed during visits of the Belarusian leaders and visits of Iranian president Mohammad Khatami (September 2004) and other top officials. Participation of Belarusian enterprises in oil production in Iran is considered to be the largest project.
