“Gazprom” is getting ready for “the worst» in the relationship with Belarusian authorities

In “Gazprom” do not exclude difficulties at the negotiations on the new contract with Belarus.

An official representative of “Gazprom” Sergei Kupriyanov noted in his interview to a TV channel Russia Today, that the contract on gas delivery to Belarus is over next year, and it is “difficult to say now” how will the negotiations on a new contract run.

Therewith, according to his words, “having overcome a number of crises, (Russia and Belarus) appeared at an acceptable for both parties level of cooperation”.

To the question, whether a new “gas war” is possible in the relations with Belarus, Kupriyanov answered: “Well, we all know a proverb: hope for the best, get ready for the worst”.

As it was informed earlier, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of “Gazprom” Andrei Kruglov declared on September, 3, that in 2011 the gas holding is expecting final transition to the market pricing with Belarus, Moldova and Armenia.
