KGB searches flat of Andrei Sannikov’s eldest son

As www.charter97.org has learnt, today at about 4 p.m. KGB officers started a search in the flat of Andrei Sanikov’s eldest son, Kanstantsin.

Kanstantsin is 35, he is the eldest son of the first marriage.

We remind that earlier searches were held at the place of Oleg Sannikov, and in the flat of his wife’s parents, the Khalips. Andrei Sannikov has a 3-year-old son. The social service tried to take 3-year-old son of Andrei Sannikov to foster care even though he has grandmother to care for him. The authorities wanted to place the child to an orphanage.

Andrei Sannikov and Iryna Khalip were arrested and severely beaten on December 19 after the protest rally in Minsk. The state of health of the jailed presidential candidate causes concern.
