The elections of the party head were non-alternative. The delegates of the congress proposed Viktar Harbachou as a candidate for the party head, but he rejected the nomination.

The United Civil Part withdraws from the local council “elections”. The decision was taken with 66 votes on favour, 37 against, five people abstained.

The speaker of the congress, Leu Marholin, noted before the voting that UCP members wouldn’t be withdrawn from election commissions and potential candidates wouldn’t be withdrawn from elections. According to him, it was a political decision of the party, but local council candidates should take own decisions regarding running in the elections. According to Marholin, it concerns the UCP members who were nominated through collecting signatures.
