As Reuters informs, Belarus will import its first cargo of crude oil from Venezuela in late April or early May.
According to the agency’s sources, an 80,000-tonne crude vessel was heading from Venezuela to Ukraine's Black Sea port of Odessa for further railway delivery to Belarus' Mozyr refinery, Radio Svaboda informs.
As experts say, it will take 20–30 days to deliver the oil to Odessa.
Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez promised earlier his country would supply Belarus with 80.000 barrels of oil pr day.
