Belarusian minister of defense left for China for military contracts

An agreement on military cooperation between the ministries of defense of Belarus and China has been signed in Beijing.

As the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Defense reports, the agreement was signed during a visit of defense minister Yury Zhadobin to China on May 12–16.

Yury Zhadobin had a meeting with Xu Caihou, vice chairman of China's Central Military Commission, held negotiations with defense minister Liang Guanglie, a member of the Central Military Commission and member of the State Council. The parties discussed the issues of bilateral military and technical cooperation.

Members of the Belarusian delegation laid flowers to the Monument to the People's Heroes in Tiananmen Square, visited the 3d security division of the Beijing garrison, the peacekeeping center of the People's Liberation Army of China.
