Belarusian fans were forced to take off their clothes before the match with Roumania

Social activists were detained at the “Dinamo” Stadium yesterday.
Human rights defender Irina Tolstik informed BelaPAN, that all the activists of “Tell the Truth!” campaign, detained before the beginning of the football match between the teams of Belarus and Roumania, were set free without the reports being written.
According to her words, police officers asked all the incoming people to unzip their jackets and searched the clothes at the entrance to the stadium. “Those who were wearing a T-shirt of “Tell the Truth!” campaign under the jacket, were taken to the police room at the stadium, and later they were transported to the Department of Internal Affairs of Leninsky District of Minsk allegedly for verification of the identity”, — Tolstik said.
Thus, approximately 50 people were detained, the human rights defender underlined. Meanwhile, to the questions, in what connection were the people detained, the police officers answered: “We did not detain you, you were detained by the special police squad”, — Tolstik told.
The detainees, according to her words, are now preparing claims against illegitimate actions of the police officers.
