Fitch Ratings lowers ratings of 6 Belarusian banks

Fitch Ratings agency lowered ratings of six Belarusian banks to “B-“, the agency’s press release says.

The ratings were decreased for Belarusbank, Belgazprombank, Belinvestbank, Belvneshekonombank, BPS Bank and VTB Bank. The rating of Belagromrombank was withdrawn earlier.

Fitch Ratings has affirmed the Long-term Issuer Default Rating (IDR) with negative outlook.

Fitch Ratings affirmed rating “B” of Belarusian banks and changed outlook from “stable” to “negative” in March 2011, AFN news agency informs.
