Governor of prison silence tortures of Sannikov

On January 25 the governor of Mahilyou prison Nr 4 Alyaksandr Lamaza declined to comment on the situation with Andrei Sannikov.

As BelaPAN was told by the prison officer on duty, the governor of prison Nr 4 Alyaksandr Lamaza refused to receive anyone yesterday saying he was busy. “The governor of prison advised to address him on Monday, on the reception day,” the officer on duty said.

We remind that on January 25 at a press-conference Iryna Khalip said that by torture and threats to his family Sannikov had been forced to sign a petition for clemency. The politician made it clear that his life is seriously menaced.
