Kabanchuk's car left under arrest

Police will check whether the car is recorded as being stolen.

Vadzim Kabanchuk was detained near the Opera Theatre on March 25 before beginning of the Freedom Day rally. He carried materials and banners for the rally in his car. Kabanchuk was left in the Tsentralny district police department for six hours. He was released, but police did give the reasons for his detention, BCD press service reports.

The car he was driving before he got detained was left in the police department. According to policemen, the vehicle will be checked if it was stolen. They promised to return the car to the activist in a few days.
