His traditional New Year's outfit is decorated with an army astrakhan collar and he wears a hat with a red star.
One has to not only read poetry and dance, but also to pass the "Cheerful Snowman" test, "Push-Pull", snowballs, shooting at a target to get the gifts, the Lukashenka's administration’s newspaper Sovetskaya Belorussia writes.

Ded Moroz continues to collect the wishes of visitors in the "capsule of desires", made of an old artillery shell. It is now "hidden" in the ground under the New Year tree. A year later it will be unseal, and the wishes will be placed on a special stand. Everyone, who has visited Ded Moroz, will be able to find his wish and recollect making them.

Director of the Historical and Cultural Complex Stalin’s Line Aliaksandr Miatla assures:
– In spite of the military paraphernalia, our Ded Moroz is the most peaceful one. Therefore, he wishes pure, cloudless sky overhead for children and adults in the coming year.
