Andrzej Duda: Polish Leopard 2 Tanks Already Arrived In Ukraine

The Polish Defence Minister has also confirmed the President's words.

Polish Leopard tanks are already in Ukraine. President Andrzej Duda and Defence Minister Mariusz Blaszczak announced this at a meeting of Poland's National Security Bureau.

Welcoming the participants in the meeting, Andrzej Duda noted that Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, who is in Ukraine where Polish Leopard 2A4 tanks have already been delivered is absent. These are the first combat vehicles provided to Ukraine by the coalition formed with Poland's participation.

Defence Minister Mariusz Blaszczak also said that Poland was responsible for organising the collection of Leopard 2A4 tanks and Germany for Leopard 2A6 tanks. A battalion of combat vehicles has been formed.

"Well, as Mr President said, the Polish Leopard have already arrived in Ukraine," he said.

According to Blaszczak, Polish, Canadian and Norwegian instructors are involved in training Ukrainian soldiers in using Leopard tanks.
