AFU Start Using Ukrainian Drone With Artificial Intelligence

The main characteristics were named.

The Defence Ministry has allowed the AFU to use the Ukrainian-made SAKER SCOUT drone with artificial intelligence.

This is reported by the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.

"Software SAKER, built on artificial intelligence algorithms, will help our troops to attack the enemy more effectively," stated the message.

As noted, the system with advanced optics independently recognises and records the coordinates of the enemy's hardware (even camouflaged), immediately transmitting the information to the command post to make the appropriate decision. This mitigates the risks of "human error", as the operator's eye is not always able to catch all the nuances.

The complex includes a flagship reconnaissance drone, as well as several FPV kamikaze drones, which are coordinated also by the flagship drone.

Key Features:

- range of up to 10 kilometres;

- can be equipped with infrared optics for night work;

- can use an inertial guidance system, which significantly increases its resistance to electronic warfare equipment;

- integrates into all existing situational awareness systems of the AFU, including the Delta system.

"Thanks to the activities of the Ministry of Defence's Accelerator, the procedure for admitting the drone to operation was as quick as possible," the Ministry of Defence noted.
