Authorities in Voronezh region have decided to evacuate residents of two settlements after an overnight drone attack, Governor Alexander Gusev said. ‘A temporary shelter in the district centre has been deployed for them, buses have been involved,’ he wrote on his Telegram channel.
As Astra writes with reference to local residents, the UAVs hit a warehouse with ammunition in the farm of Malaya Mezhenka. This information is indirectly confirmed by Gusev: according to his report, the fire after the drone raid occurred ‘near explosive objects’.
An oil depot was also attacked in Rostov Region, resulting in a large fire at the facility. The Russian Defence Ministry traditionally reported the successful ‘shooting down’ of eight UAVs in the skies over Voronezh Region and four more over Rostov Region.
