The determination and courage of the Iranian people did their job.
Republican U.S. Congressional Senator Lindsey Graham in a X social media post addressed Iranian protesters who have spoken out against the country's economic problems and assured them of support from U.S. President Donald Trump.
"To the Iranian people: your long nightmare will soon come to an end. Your courage and determination to end oppression has been noticed by Trump and all who love freedom," Graham wrote.
He recalled Trump's words about his intention to "make Iran great again" and explained what they meant by the need for protesters in Iran to defeat the Ayatollah.
"This is the clearest signal yet that he, President Trump, understands that Iran will never be great with the Ayatollah and his minions in power. Blessings to all who are making sacrifices in Iran. Help is on the way," the senator emphasized.
TO THE IRANIAN PEOPLE: your long nightmare is soon coming to a close. Your bravery and determination to end your oppression has been noticed by @POTUS and all who love freedom.

Later in X, he circulated Trump's message of U.S. willingness to help Iran fight back, emphasizing that the White House chief is "100% right."
"Freedom now, freedom forever for the long-suffering Iranian people. Death to the Ayatollah regime," Graham noted.
As usual Mr. President, you are 100% right.
Freedom now, freedom forever for the long suffering Iranian people. Death to the ayatollah's regime.
