The IDF Announced That Shani Luk's Kidnapper Had Been Neutralized
Shani Luk

A Hamas militant was killed in an airstrike in Jabalia.

On October 20, the Israel Defense Forces reported that they had carried out an airstrike in Jabalia in the Gaza Strip and killed a Hamas terrorist named Tamer Mohammad Ibrahim al-Zabak, according to BILD. Presumably, he was the one who kidnapped Shani Luk during the mass massacre on October 7, 2023.

Al-Zabak later organized attacks on Israeli soldiers and attempted to rebuild Hamas’s terrorist infrastructure in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli military said.

In October 2023, footage circulated showing Hamas terrorists transporting Shani Luk’s partially naked body in the bed of a pickup truck through the streets of the Gaza Strip.

In May 2024, during an operation in the Gaza Strip, Israeli soldiers found the girl’s remains and brought them to Israel for burial.

“She was a very cheerful child and had her own ideas about life from an early age,” her mother Ricarda Luk recently said. “She was open to the world, sewed her own clothes, and declared early on that she wanted to be an artist and wasn’t interested in school. She was very friendly, sweet, and cheerful, and immediately drew attention to herself.”

Just recently, in late September, the Israeli army reported the killing of yet another kidnapper. The individual in question was a Hamas operative who had abducted an Israeli woman, Noa Argamani, and taken her to the Gaza Strip on a motorcycle. She was later rescued.
