An American officer gave sworn testimony about UFOs.
In the new, seventh batch of classified documents released by the Pentagon, an account by a former officer at the Roswell military base, Walter Hout, regarding an alleged spacecraft and the bodies of aliens that were found has been uncovered. This was reported by NewsNation.
The new documents were released on October 23. Among them are Hout’s sworn testimony, which he gave in 2002. The officer recounted that in 1947, while serving as a public affairs officer, he released a report stating that the government had discovered a flying disc near Roswell, New Mexico. At the time, the military quickly put forward the theory that it was a fallen weather balloon.
However, later, in 2002, Hout reported that he had actually seen an egg-shaped metallic object covered with a tarp in a hangar at the Roswell base, and next to it—two small bodies with disproportionately large heads. According to him, he saw the UFO only “briefly,” but he is convinced that it was an extraterrestrial object and its crew.
The article notes that Hout’s report was edited. He himself died in 2005.
Since May, U.S. authorities have been releasing files on unidentified flying objects. In the documents, they are listed as unidentified anomalous phenomena.
