Trump Revealed The Consequences Of A Democratic Victory In The Election

The U.S. president said he would become “Mr. Veto.”

U.S. President Donald Trump will become “Mr. Veto” if the Democrats win the midterm congressional elections. The White House chief made this statement on the New York Post’s “Pod Force One” podcast, an excerpt of which was aired by Fox News.

“If that happens, I suppose I’ll become ‘Mr. Veto.’ I won’t let them [the Democrats] gain a foothold, and then we’ll probably strike deals,” the president said.

Trump clarified that if events unfold this way, he plans to veto any bills sent to him. According to him, after one or two months, the lawmakers’ initiatives “will become garbage,” after which it will be possible to strike a deal with them.
