Trump Acknowledged That The Law Prevents Him From Running For President Again

The U.S. president stated that the wording in the Constitution is “very clear.”

U.S. President Donald Trump stated in an interview with The New York Post that the law does not allow him to run for the highest office in the land again.

“I would gladly run if I could, but the wording is very clear,” the U.S. president said.

The current U.S. president has repeatedly stated that he is considering running for a third presidential term, despite the ban established by the 22nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
