Meteorologists are working around the clock and constantly monitoring the instruments.

Germany is suffering from extreme temperatures. The country has set a new all-time high, exceeding 40 degrees Celsius.

This was reported by Deutsche Welle.

The abnormal heat was recorded on Saturday, June 27. A weather station in the village of Drewitz recorded 41.5 degrees Celsius. This is the highest temperature ever recorded in Germany.

The German Weather Service (DWD) is analyzing this data. Experts are calling these figures preliminary, and plan to release official confirmation on June 29.

Meteorologists are working around the clock and constantly monitoring the instruments. The DWD’s computational models show alarming forecasts: the thermometer could exceed 42 degrees.

The previous temperature record didn’t even last a full day. The pace at which records are being broken is staggering:

June 26: 41.3 degrees recorded in the Burbach area west of Saarbrücken.

June 27 (day): In the same Burbach area, the temperature rose to 41.4 degrees.

June 27 (evening): Drewiec took the lead with a reading of 41.5 degrees.

Southwestern and eastern Germany are now competing for the title of hottest region. High temperatures persist throughout the daylight hours. Meteorologists are urging caution, as these extreme conditions affect people’s health and the functioning of infrastructure.
