There are "arrivals."
On the night of June 30, Moscow and the Moscow Region were subjected to large-scale drone attack. The mayor of the Russian capital, Sergei Sobyanin, stated that air defense forces allegedly shot down about 50 drones heading toward the city, according to UNIAN.
According to Sobyanin, the attack began around 4:00 a.m. Over the course of two hours, he posted 11 updates about drones allegedly shot down as they flew toward Moscow. In each post, the official noted that emergency services were working at the crash sites.
At the same time, Russian authorities did not report whether all the drones had been intercepted or what damage had been caused to facilities in the Moscow Region.
Due to the attack, Rosaviatsiya has temporarily imposed restrictions on aircraft arrivals and departures at Domodedovo and Zhukovsky airports.
Meanwhile, Russian Telegram channels have released a video showing drones flying over Moscow. There are also reports of explosions and a fire in Yegoryevsk, as well as two strikes in Dubna, Moscow Region.
Dubna is home to enterprises of strategic importance to the Russian military-industrial complex. In particular, these include the “Kronstadt” plant, which manufactures drones, and the “Raduga” Machine-Building Plant named after Bereznyak, part of the “Tactical Missile Weapons” corporation. This facility produces the Kh-101, Kh-555, Kh-69, and Kh-59MK cruise missiles, which Russia regularly uses to strike targets in Ukraine.
It is worth noting that both the “Kronstadt” plant and the “Raduga” facility have already been targeted by drone attacks on multiple occasions.
