Fighters from the Russian Volunteer Corps (RVC) were tasked with halting the advance of the Russian Federation’s army in a specific sector of the Zaporizhzhia front. It has only now come to light how they managed to do so.
This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense and the RVK.
The Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine reports that during the winter of 2025–2026, fighters of the Russian Volunteer Corps were given an important mission.
They were tasked with halting the advance of Russian invaders in a specific sector of the Zaporizhzhia front.
To accomplish this, RVC fighters required several months of continuous combat operations. Throughout this time, they actively carried out assaults.
According to the Corps, they managed to clear a total of 9 square kilometers of territory of the enemy.

“The assigned defense sector has been stabilized,” the RDK emphasized.
