The dictator of the Russian Federation intends to continue the war.

Russia's dictator Vladimir Putin addressed the Russian military in a response to a letter from Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky. He did so during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

Putin noted that the letter from the Ukrainian president contained "elements of boorishness." He regarded it as the Ukrainian leader trying to create a situation in which negotiations would allegedly be impossible.

The Russian dictator concluded that he should address not the Ukrainian side, but the Russian military on the front line.

"The whole country is proud of you and hopes for you.... Work, brothers!" - he said.
