The enemy continues to attempt to amass forces and assets in Pokrovsk to support further offensives. However, this occupied city is in the band of responsibility of the Seventh Rapid Reaction Corps of the Airborne Assault Troops. Therefore, Ukrainian defenders from the "techno-desert" unit are thwarting the intentions of the Russian invaders.

So, recently, they hit a Molniya UAV and aerial reconnaissance launch point in the very center of Pokrovsk. The paratroopers showed how it was.
Defeat of the facility
"According to available information, at a facility in the city, the enemy has set up a takeoff and launch point for Lightning-type strike UAVs and used it for aerial reconnaissance. However, the defeat of the object complicated the work of enemy unmanned units in the direction and reduced the enemy's ability to reconnaissance and strike," the paratroopers noted.
The fact is that now among the priority tasks of the occupants is to expand the network of drone launch points within the city. The invaders are using residential areas for this purpose. In particular, places for UAV takeoff and control are set up in concrete shelters, basements and entrances of multi-storey buildings, the Seventh Corps of the DSHV explained.
The video below shows the moment of hitting an enemy UAV launch point in the central part of Pokrovsk.

The 7th Airborne Assault Corps is referred to as the "Rapid Reaction Corps" in the DSV. During the troop's reorganization into a corps structure, the 7th Airborne Assault Corps included at least nine airborne assault and airmobile brigades, one regiment, an artillery brigade and a command and control battalion.
The corps operates with an emphasis on the application of innovation, new methods and tactics. "Unmanned systems, FPV drones, robotic platforms, R&D, 3D printers, innovative training systems and advanced targeting tools have become an integral part of our combat operations," the corps says, adding that this is why their unit is sometimes referred to as a "techno troop."
