Ushakov and Peskov could not agree on whether Trump's special envoys would visit Moscow.
Moscow cannot decide whether the visit of the US presidential special envoys to Russia will take place in the near future.
A Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov said this, news.ru.
According to Ushakov, Moscow continues to maintain contacts with Washington. In particular, he is in touch with the special representative of the US president Steve Whitkoff and the son-in-law of the American leader Jared Kushner.
"This has been repeatedly announced (the future visit of Whitkoff and Kushner - ed.), including me mentioned. The trip is being prepared," he said.
Peskov said the opposite
It should be noted that on June 5, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov assured that the visit of U.S. President Steve Whitkoff's special envoy and the U.S. leader's son-in-law Jared Kushner to Moscow is not expected.
By the way, a few days ago, the head of the Ukrainian Presidential Office Kyrylo Budanov said that the first visit of Whitkoff and Kushner to Kiev should take place in the near future. According to him, after that they will go to Moscow.
This visit to Kiev was announced back in early April, but it never took place.
