Zelensky Commented On The Results Of The Elections In Armenia

Ukraine is ready to expand cooperation with Yerevan.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has congratulated Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the victory of his Civil Pact party in the parliamentary elections.

The Ukrainian leader said in a post on social network X on Monday, June 8.

"I congratulate Armenia on holding democratic, free elections and Nikol Pashinyan on his victory. And this is a victory of Armenia's sovereignty, your independence and the right to live as you determine. We wish you success," Vladimir Zelensky wrote.

He emphasized that Ukraine is ready to expand cooperation with Armenia.

Zelensky also emphasized the importance of the European Union's real support for Armenia.

"This is the time for the European Union to really support Armenia and do everything necessary for people to feel that life is better thanks to relations with Europe. This is a test for the European Union," the President of Ukraine pointed out.

He added that it is necessary not to miss the time and opportunities.
