Ukrainian Airborne Forces Routed Russian Convoys Near Slavyansk

Dozens of the occupiers' light vehicles have been destroyed over the past four days.

Over the course of four days, fighters from the 81st Separate Slobozhansky Airborne Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Airborne Forces destroyed approximately sixty pieces of light equipment belonging to Russian forces in the Slavyansk sector.

The brigade reported these results on Saturday, July 11.

According to military officials, such losses are forcing the enemy to change tactics: Russian units are forced to choose between moving on foot over significant distances and attempting to break through with vehicles, which also become targets for Ukrainian paratroopers.

“Now the enemy will think twice: whether to cover dozens of kilometers on foot or try to break through by vehicle. But even that won’t help them,” the brigade noted.

On July 10, the General Staff of the Armed Forces reported that in the Slavyansk sector, defenders repelled 26 Russian attacks toward Kryva Luka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, and Mykolaivka, as well as in the areas of Reznikivka and Zakotne.
