The bombings are going on nonstop.
Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, outlined a new phase of the devastating operation against Russian targets in the occupied territories. According to him, in just two days, Ukrainian drones struck dozens of targets: power hubs, substations, air defense components, and radar systems in Crimea, as well as in the occupied territories of the Donetsk, Luhansk, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
Brovdi dubbed the operation “Crimean Circuit Breaker Off” and “Air Defense Crash.”
The main targets were the energy infrastructure that powers the Russian forces and occupied Crimea, as well as the air defense systems protecting these facilities.
According to Brovdi, 11 power hubs and substations of varying capacities were struck over two days: nine power substations, a strategic power transfer point on the Kuban-Crimea power bridge, and the infrastructure of a gas pumping station. Among the targeted facilities are the “Kuban-Crimea” power transfer point near Glazovka, the “Kamysh-Burun” and “Kovylnoe” substations, “Zimino,” and “Zarya,” as well as energy facilities in the occupied parts of the Donetsk, Luhansk, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
Russian air defense systems were specifically targeted. Brovdi announced the destruction of five elements: an S-400 “Triumph” launcher near Kerch, a “Tor-M22” air defense system in the Donetsk region, a “Pantsir-S1” air defense system in Crimea, and two “Nebo-U” radar systems.
Military analysts note that the significance of this series of strikes lies not only in the power outages.
Ukraine is simultaneously targeting two systems—the occupying force’s energy infrastructure and its air defense. The destruction of radars and air defense systems clears the way for subsequent waves of drones, which can penetrate deeper and encounter less and less resistance.
In recent weeks, such videos have been appearing almost continuously. They show that Ukraine’s campaign against Russian infrastructure in the occupied territories is becoming not a one-off action but a systematic operation: first, air defense is neutralized; then, energy, logistics, and command-and-control hubs are targeted.
The peninsula depends on a limited number of energy and logistics routes, and strikes on the Kuban-Crimea power bridge and key substations are creating problems not only for military facilities but also for the entire occupation command-and-control system.
