The street is reportedly closed to traffic. It’s likely that a gas tanker caught fire or “something more serious,” people are writing on social media. The Ukrainian channel Exilenova+ reports that fuel and lubricants caught fire in Mariupol, likely following a drone attack. Military analyst Yan Matveev also believes that, “judging by the smoke,” a fuel depot may have caught fire in the city. The head of the Ukrainian Center for the Study of the Occupation Petro Andriushchenko stated on his Telegram channel that Mariupol was attacked by Ukrainian Armed Forces drones: “Our drones are over the city. The central district in the direction of the exit to Nikolskoye.”
