Before the strike, Ukrainian drones destroyed a Russian "Buk" air defense system.

Every day, Ukrainian defenders destroy the Russian occupiers’ military equipment and personnel. This time, the Ukrainian National Guard destroyed a field command post of enemy anti-aircraft gunners and a self-propelled “Buk” air defense system.

Footage of the combat operations published by the National Guard unit Lasar’s Group. The National Guard troops operated with the support of the Ukrainian Air Force.

The operation, in which the “Charter” unit also participated, consisted of two phases and took place in the area of responsibility of the 2nd Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine. Planning and coordination were carried out by the Joint Forces Group in collaboration with intelligence analysts from Lasar’s Group.

“The ultimate targets were the Russians’ command posts, but in order to strike them, it was necessary to clear a path for the aircraft. That’s what the ‘Lasars’ set out to do,” the statement reads.

Lasar’s Group drone crews managed to destroy a “Buk” air defense system that the Russians had hidden in a grove, using it to provide cover for their command posts. After that, combat aircraft carried out an airstrike on the main and backup command posts. Following that, drone operators from the 151st Mechanized Brigade struck the targets.
