The fighting continues.
The Russians were unable to capture Konstantinovka in the Donetsk region, despite statements by Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
According to the president, fierce fighting for Konstantinovka is currently underway. The most challenging sections of the front remain in the Donbas, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, and Kharkiv Oblast.
“Fighting is also taking place for Konstantinovka, which Putin has already claimed as his own, but it’s clear he’ll never risk showing up there. Because, in reality, his only real home is Moscow, St. Petersburg, and his residences,” Zelenskyy emphasized.
The head of state highlighted the cynicism of this war. The Russian dictator relies solely on his inner circle and is destroying everything within his reach. At the same time, the Kremlin is killing at least 30,000 of its own citizens every month.
“This June, there have also been nearly 30,000 confirmed casualties among the Russian occupiers on the front lines—those killed and seriously wounded,” the President of Ukraine reported.
Zelenskyy thanked all Ukrainian soldiers who are currently fighting for Ukraine on the toughest fronts.
