NYT: Putin Is Hiding From Ukrainian Drones

The Kremlin leader travels by armored train and sends out "fake" presidential motorcades.

Putin began traveling by armored train. He also started sending out fake presidential motorcades to evade Ukrainian drones. This is reported by The New York Times.

Commentators note that Russian television has long been using so-called “canned footage.” These are pre-recorded clips featuring Putin that are presented as breaking news. Meanwhile, the dictator’s security detail is devising ever-new ways to hide him from Ukrainian drones, which are striking virtually the entire European part of Russia and are even reaching Western Siberia.

In addition, false reports about the Kremlin leader’s whereabouts are being used more and more frequently.

Earlier, as reported by the website Charter97.org, during a visit to Novosibirsk, Putin unexpectedly flew in on an old Il-96 RA-96020, which had previously been used as a decoy aircraft and flown to conceal the president’s route.
