French Intelligence Agents Visited Minsk

They met with KGB chief Tertel.

A delegation of high-ranking officials from the French foreign intelligence service, the DGSE, visited Minsk in mid-July 2026. This was reported by the French trade publication Intelligence Online.

The publication reports that a delegation from Paris met with KGB chief Ivan Tertel.

As a reminder, on May 24, French President Emmanuel Macron called Alexander Lukashenko.

Details of the unexpected phone call between Paris and Minsk were published by AFP.

Emmanuel Macron clearly outlined the risks for Belarus if it continues to allow itself to be drawn into Russia’s war. In addition, the French leader called on Alexander Lukashenko to take the necessary steps to improve relations between Belarus and Europe.
