Ayatollah Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi, one of the most influential political figures in Iran, was going to visit Minsk on April 28.
He is the head of the judicial system of Iran, though his influence reaches other fields. The name of Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi is associated in the West with numerous incidents in human rights sphere, “Nasha Niva” writes.
The program of the visit is traditionally unknown, but security of the guest will be ensured by 60 bodyguards.
