On the Day of Solidarity Belarusians were reminded about oppositionists and journalists who have become victims of Lukashenka’s regime.

All over Belarus at pickets for collection of signatures for nomination of “European Belarus” leader Andrei Sannikov as a presidential candidate leaflets were placed with the words “We Remember” and with pictures of politicians and journalists perished in Belarus.

“We used pickets for collection of signatures to remind people about political assassinations in Belarus. Many people who came up and gave their signatures, knew about the persons of the pictures, and those who did not know, learnt about political assassinations and disappearances in Belarus. People are convinced that investigation of these cases should be finished and those guilty punished. Under the new regime is it sure to happen,” the presidential candidate Andrei Sannikov said.
