Bloggers: of Belarusian propaganda disgraces itself on Euronews (Video)

A short video in English titled “Invest in Belarus” which has recently appeared on Euronews, was called miserable in the Belarusian Internet community.

Euronews often shows advertising video clips about different countries to attract tourists and investors there. A recently made video clip about Azerbaijan stands apart form others. This Caucasian country looks really beautiful.

A video about our country has recently been shown on Euronews. But it seems that the clip failed to evoke much response even in Belarus. Friends of LJ-community minsk_by found it “measurable”, “Salidarnasts” writes.

Valyantsin Lopan, director of “Agentstvo Delovyh Svyazej" Ltd. (Agency of Business Relations), wrote in his blog that the clip Invest in Belarus on Euronews about attractive conditions for investors in our country reflects the whole Belarusian advertising business like a water drop.

“Maybe it’s because I watch Euronews in Russian on cable TV, but I cannot hide an incisive smile every time I see this ad,” Valyantsin Lopan wrote. “The word ‘beautiful’ is heard when backs of European bison are shown. And we hear ‘energetic’ when a twitching leg of a ballet dancer is shown. The rest is dull. For some reason I think the Europeans would have noticed that strange thing, but the Moscow office hasn’t noticed it for two weeks. What is important, the Belarusians do not notice that as well.”
