Prosecutor General: Some authors of inadmissible publications to be questioned

“Certain persons” were “dancing on the blood” in media and on the Internet.

This statement was made by Prosecutor General of Belarus Ryhor Vasilevich at a press conference for a limited number of journalists on April 13, BelaPAN informs.

Some fragments of the press conference were shown on Belarusian television.

“These publications had derisive and insulting sense and content, different kinds of speculations and insinuations,” Vasilevich said. “In this situation, this is what makes us, prosecution agencies, the Interior Ministry and KGB analyze content of these remarks and statements in compliance with the norms of the Criminal Code and the Code of Administrative Offences and decide on bringing the persons guilty in these actions to criminal responsibility.”

“We will carry out this analysis in the nearest time. I think some authors of publications with inadmissible content will be questioned under a criminal case. A question of their responsibility will be solved depending on their remarks,” the Prosecutor General noted.

Vasilevich did not specify if pro-Lukashenka propagandists and members of the “house of representatives” would be questioned.
