Head Of Frunzenski District Of Minsk: Gelly Is Chic Car

Artsiom Tsuran praised the Belarusian-Chinese car and the size of his own salary which is "above the average for the capital."

In October, 2016, 37-year-old Artsiom Tsuran became the head of the Frunzenski district, where 460 thousand people live. Journalists from tut.by met with the official on the eve of the anniversary of his presence in the office.

Among other things, journalists asked if the salary of a civil servant motivated him.

– Before the appointment to the administration, everyone had a bigger salary. But I think that they had normal healthy leader ambitions, plus a desire to develop professionally. First, the civil service should be perceived as a vocation, and second – as a career development with the return of the material prosperity with a certain coefficient.

The journalists asked if the financial well-being of the head of the Frunzenski district corresponded to the scope of his duties and tasks.

– I began to live with my wife while still being students in such conditions that nothing can scare us anymore. And my wife perceives my income as the one for which it is necessary to build our family life.

At the same time, due to the optimization of the state apparatus, the salary of Tsuran has increased by about 30% since September 1. Is it higher than the average for Minsk?

– As far as I understand, this is higher than the average income for Minsk, so there's nothing to complain about and there's nothing to hide. This is a decent salary for the head of the district.

And in general, Artsiom Tsuran believes that all conditions have been created to make the heads of districts in Minsk work effectively. Even the old Mercedes, which were manufactured in 2001, were replaced by the new Geely Emgrand GT cars. The official explains that they asked Shorts about this because the old cars had outdated long ago and a lot of money was spent on repairing them. The head has no claims about the Belarusian-Chinese car.

– It's a chic car! Chinese delegation came to visit us, and I met Mayor Jilin on this car. He said that they compared these cars to Mercedes and Volvos. This is almost the upmarket segment.
