New data from the State Border Service of Ukraine has emerged.
Ukraine's Border Guard Service has not observed an accumulation of such a number of Russian troops on the border with Belarus that would be sufficient to attack Ukraine.
This was reported by Charter97.org, citing a statement by a spokesman for Ukraine's State Border Guard Service Andriy Demchenko.
"There are only small intervals of time when the pause continues... Russia is now actively pressuring Belarus to join the war with us with its own forces," Demchenko said.
He added that the regime of Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko recently accused Ukraine of drone attacks, but everything is happening the other way around.
"Most of the drones that Russia launches for massive attacks on Ukraine enter the territory of Belarus and go through its territory to further fly into Ukraine through the Kiev and Zhitomir regions. Over the past few weeks, an increase in such tactics has been recorded," said a representative of the State Border Service.
President Vladimir Zelensky said earlier that Russia is trying to further drag Belarus into the war and is considering plans for operations in directions south and north of the Belarusian territory.
This could be an attack toward Ukraine or one of the NATO countries. The AFU Commander-in-Chief Alexander Syrsky said in turn that the threat from Belarus is real.
