Triumph For Ukraine: Defense Intelligence Discloses Consequences Of Russian S-400 Complex Destruction In Crimea

The destruction of the Russian anti-aircraft missile system S-400 “Triumf” in the occupied Crimea will have systemic consequences for the developments on the peninsula.

It is reported by RBC-Ukraine with a reference to the representative of the Defense Intelligence Andriy Yusov on the air of the telethon.

“This was an explosion that eliminated such a “trademark” of Russian air defense systems. Something they wanted to sell abroad for inflated costs. I believe that now there will be much fewer those willing to buy such not very effective things that burn well,” he said.

Yusov noted that intelligence has information about the liquidation of personnel as a result of an attack on the peninsula: “Well, the S-400 complex itself is not one piece of equipment. Therefore, everything that was around was either destroyed or struck.

He was also asked how the destruction of the complex will affect the work of Russian air defense in the Crimea.

The representative of the Defense Intelligence noted that there are very few S-400 complexes. Because this is one of the latest developments.

“Since this is one of the most modern of their (Russians — edit.) means of air defense and missile defense, this will have systemic consequences for the developments in the Crimea. Today a “triumph” really took place, but not for rushists. This is a triumph for Ukraine and the Ukrainians who are bringing the liberation of the Crimea closer,” Yusov said.

Explosions in the Crimea

This morning in the west of the Crimea in Olenivka there were about 7 explosions and a thick cloud of smoke rose.

Local Telegram channels reported that the Russian military facility at Cape Tarkhankut was hit. Russian radar stations were allegedly damaged there.

In addition, adviser to the mayor of Mariupol Petro Andryushchenko noted that the Bastion anti-ship complex was hit in the Crimea.

A source of RBC-Ukraine in one of the intelligence agencies said that the blow fell on the military unit of the Russians.

Later, the Defense Intelligence reported the destruction of the S-400 Triumf complex in the Crimea.
