Ukrainian Armed Forces Sniper Defeats Russians Near Avdiivka During Night Operation

A sniper of the 47th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, using a rifle with a thermal imaging sight, eliminated about 15 invaders during their attempt at a night assault on Ukrainian positions on the Avdiivka section of the front. The Russians tried to approach the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces under the cover of darkness, but the Ukrainian military noticed their approach using a thermal imaging device built into the sight. The fighter, whose name has not been disclosed, demonstrated skill and ability to act in difficult conditions, opening fire to kill the Russians. During the night battle, he discovered and with precise fire defeated an entire group of invaders.

In recent weeks, Ukrainian military in the Avdiivka direction have been repelling fierce attacks by Russian troops.
