The Scandal Involving The Russian Coach Of "ML Vitebsk" Continues
Magomed Adiev

Its representatives will appeal to FIFA.

The law firm "Aleteya" has announced its intention to appeal to the FIFA Football Tribunal regarding the situation involving the Russian coach of "ML Vitebsk" Magomed Adiev, according to betnews.by.

— Currently, as representatives of Magomed Musaevich, we are preparing a statement to the Players’ Status Chamber of the FIFA Football Tribunal, where we will demand that the grounds for his dismissal be recognized as valid and that the club be ordered to pay compensation for the early termination of the contract due to the club’s culpable actions, in the amount of the remaining value of the contract through December 31, 2026, inclusive, — the company’s statement reads.

Adiyev was suspended from working with “ML” following a home loss to “Vitebsk” in the Betera Premier League (1–2). He was present at the match against “Minsk” (2–2), but “ML” prohibited the Russian coach from being in the technical area, on the bench, or in the locker room, so Adiev watched the game from the stands. At the same time, “ML” ordered Adiev to take charge of the reserve team, but the coach refused to go there.

The “ML Vitebsk” soccer club parted ways with its head coach due to his alcohol abuse. According to the publication, the coach routinely skipped training sessions, which were instead led by his assistants.
